Image manipulation...
Kena W32/Bagle virus today and was told by the IT guy to disconnect my PC from the network until further notice. So, cannot work. Resorted to PhotoStudio for a while and this is what came out...

Kwan Yin Temple, Penang

have been wanting to do this for quite sometime, but never got to it. So, finally got the chance... Also got a lot of help from my colleagues M and Q.

Oh by the way, IT resolved the virus issue and my PC is home free now.

About food...
Went to Passion of Kerala over in Burmah Square over the weekend. Food was fantastic. Apparently the crab and the sotong (squid) are their specialty, but I only found out AFTER my visit. Anyways, enjoyed the food and the ambience. Here are some photos I took during my visit...

Passion of Kerala

Place is also quite cooling, even though it is not air-conditioned. Great place to hangout and get your authentic banana leaf rice...

Hold Properly!
I attended a Leadership Workshop recently and one of the topics that was discussed/shared was perception. So the facilitator who happened to be one of the managers in the department that I am working in, gave the following quote...

“When a blind man holds on to the leg of an elephant, he may think it is a tree trunk… so it depends on where the blind man is holding… that determines his perception or where/what he thinks he is holding onto.”

Profound... yet, a few of us broke up into laughter. Perhaps it's just the way he said it. We couldn't contain it. But he (the facilitator) was a-blur and did not know what happened and what was so funny. Anyway, we needed that to keep us awake for the rest of the session...
