boon's log 2606.01: Repatriation...

Just arrived back in Penang 3 Fridays ago. I tell you, repatriation is a real pain in the neck (!) - with all the packing and shipment and mail address change, etc., etc. But finally, I've got everything almost settled, just waiting for a few shipments to be delivered and received.

It's great to be home and being with IL again. She's different from the last time I saw her. She is glowing with beauty! Yup, the mom-to-be is in her second trimester. We just went for her 4th OBGYN visit yesterday and all seems well, and the baby's healthy and moving around (or swimming around a whole lot). We saw "her" scratching "her" ears and also sucking "her" thumb through the ultrasound scan images. Really amazing... a real miracle in the making.

Well, just a short one for today, as I'm still catching up with the emails and also work - yeah no rest for me until perhaps sometime later - end of this month maybe... pictures of Tahoe will be uploaded later (when time and disk space permits) - yup, managed to do a final visit there before I flew off the 2 weekends before last. Suprisingly, i arrived at Tahoe an hour earlier than what Yahoo! Maps suggested - and no, I did not speed. :)
