Cousin Spruce...

This is a unmissable sight when you are in the University's vicinity. You will know that you are near a college or university of some sort when you see these posted on walls, bus stops, lamp posts, traffic light posts... and yes, trees.

It is quite unsightly. Besides, as my old "ah mama" used to say, "Imagine what the tree would have said if it can talk."

"Hey, look! Isn't that cousin Spruce? Or whatever's left of 'em?"

Let's hope that the day won't come when Spruce becomes Spruce Almighty! God knows what will happen to us... ;)
