The weekend...

What a good way to spend the weekend. Made myself some coffee, grabbed a book and sat next to a sleeping babe (AB) and just watch her sleep. There's something about the soft breathing of a sleeping baby that makes you feel so relaxed... probably the crying that they do when they are awake makes you appreciate the soft "purring" more. Ha ha!

Anyway, this is one of the unfinished book that I started to read whilst in college. Dugged it up recently and decided to attempt to finish it - Tom Clancy's Executive Order. It was a Christmas gift from a close college friend some years ago...

Material monks...

I thought monks were suppose to stay away from materialistic stuffs. I guess that is also evolving. They could be buying it for some friends. But then again, aren't they supposed to be at the temple where their friends are also fellow monks who are supposed to stay away from materialistic items? Interesting...


Beautiful Penang

In all effort to beautify Penang, here's what the Govt missed out. This picture was taken at some unpopular corner of Penang, mind you. It's smacked right along Gurney Drive. And the stench is quite unbearable when the winds bring it in. I really like Gurney Drive, with the sea on one side and Bak Kut Teh stalls on the other; with the nice shady trees. It's really nice to walk along Gurney Drive. But this eye-sore really spoils the view.
