boon's log 5107.01: Taiwan 2007 [Pt1]
To sum up Taiwan into 2 words? Great Food. Of all the things that I enjoy the most whilst in Taiwan is definitely the variaty and the great tasting food. Though it is leaning towards Asian-Chinese type of cuisine, but it's managed to create a sense of individuality on its own. IL had a conference up in Taipei and I just tagged along and roamed the town on my own. Apart from the food, of course there are a couple of other good spots for sight seeing, namely Taipei 101, Memorial halls - Sun Yat Sen & Cheng Kai Shek, Temples, Night Markets, Museums, and Hollywood Stars... and some where in there was some encounter with general relations officers and riots and then more food...
Here are some of picture accounts. After compiling some of the pictures, I figured that it may be too much to post all of them in one single entry, so I've decided to go by batches. So... let's do food first!
