boon's log 0805.03: Triumph In The Sky
Anyone following this Cantonese series? Well, I somehow got sucked into watching it halfway - blame it on my father- and sister-in-law. :) I intercepted the series when the kiddos joined the pilot school in Australia and I followed on until now. A few things I observed while watching the series:
- Hong Kong-ers LOVE to go to Italy - especially Rome and Florence. Possibly due to cheap flights offered by Cathay Pacific (or Solar Airways...)
- How to get a girl to love you (even though you have tried almost all the tricks in the book but to no avail)? Get banged by a car driven by a friendly Australian and act macho about it - make sure you bleed, but not too much and make sure you do not die, of course.
- You can be sure that there are NO VISITORS/TOURISTS such as yourself at the Trevi Fountain, Rome. At anytime of the day, when you go there with the person that you love, you can be sure that you are the only ones there.
- Circus Maximus is just a leap away from St. Peter's Square.
- It is a normal practice in Rome to let your baby kid to play in the middle of a busy road.
- Road kill is normal because buses cannot see kids that are standing stationary in the middle of the road.
These are just my observations from the movie-lah. Well, having said all that, I still want to see how the movie ends - sigh, what the? - I wanna see what will become of the love triangleS. PLUS, I kinda like the sountrack...

Nice Shot... did you toss a coin and make a wish?
No man. Did not really believe in the "toss-a-coin-and-make-a-wish" thingy... :)
